I Need that Record! DVD to Release on Record Store Day
by: Jocelyn Hoppa
Featuring the likes of Thurston Moore, Ian MacKaye, Mike Watt, and Noam Chomsky (among many others), I Need that Record!: The Death (or Possible Survival) of the Independent Record Store, will see a DVD release on Record Store Day. It will then spend its first 90 days available only at independent record stores, and will be made available everywhere starting July 27th. But obviously you should go to your local independent record store (if it still exists, of course) and buy a few records and then also this DVD, because over 3,000 record stores have closed in the last decade and that really fucking sucks.
