The Dead Weather Set To Release Horehound Follow-Up
by: Daniel Alvarez
White, the brilliant Alison Mosshart, and the group’s nameless other two members (just kidding guys) — guitarist Dean Fertita and bassist Jack Lawrence — are currently on the road, set to criss-cross the country until the end of April.
Information on a Jack White/Jay-Z collaboration after the jump.
In particularly peculiar news, Jack White told GQ Magazine that he recently polished off a collaboration with part-time rapper/full-time rich guy Jay-Z.
While nobody’s sure when the track will see the light of day, we can all sleep easy knowing that at some point in the future we will get the privilege of hearing a 40 year-old rap about his Gucci slippers over a non-descript blues riff. In the immortal words of Stimpy, I can hardly contain myself.
