Keith Richards and Ron Wood Going Sober Together

Keith Richards updates are always interesting, are they not? He’s obviously a fascinating character (decades of substance abuse, snorting his dad’s ashes, etc), and he’s also a walking representation of beating the odds. And Ron Wood’s volatile, erratic behavior has been keeping him in the news of late, too (leaving his longtime wife for a near-teenager, being arrested for assault, entering rehab for the eighth time, etc) , so together, the two Rolling Stones have gotta be up to something worth mentioning, right? Apparently, according to Spinner, the legendary musicians known for their party-hard ways (even now, in their 60s), are giving up booze and leaning on one another for support throughout their newfound sobriety.
Evidently, Wood and Richards had not been speaking of late; Wood was nearly fired from the Stones for his recent behavior. So their sobriety pact indicates that the once-sparring bandmates have reconciled and are in it to win it. Best of luck to them.
Check out this sweet video of Richards and Wood jamming together.
