Henry Rollins has been posting on Vanity Fair’s Politics & Power blog for only about a year and a half, and so it’s no surprise that he’d be railing against Sarah Palin since his very first post. But with a title like the above coming from the former Black Flag frontman, how can we not pay attention?

It’s an amusing rant , a quick read, and worth a glance at least. That’s pretty much his Vanity Fair m.o., though it is nevertheless refreshing that a mainstream outlet like that gives a fella like him a pulpit. Objectively, though — come on, Hank. “An inferno of idiocy”? Is that the best you can do? How ’bout some sticks and stones? You know words can never hurt her, as she’s not too big on reading them or discerning their meanings, nor are her supporters, by and large.

Mr. Rollins ain’t no dumb-dumb, and we all love to imagine the veins on his trunk-like neck bulge with righteous animosity.
