The National Announce New Album and Tour, and Other News
Beloved indie rock band the National is back to reclaim their spot in our collective hearts and minds. After coming to widespread critical prominence with the releases of 2005’s Alligator and 2007’s Boxer, both of which enjoyed placement on best-of lists all over the place, the Brooklyn-based band has announced their eagerly awaited follow-up, due out in May on 4AD. They will also be taking their show on the road with select cities playing host to the band, including an opening slot for Pavement in Paris. (Strange Glue)

oh god, not a medley.
I agree wholeheartedly, medleys are for “suckas”! They’d be far, far better off just playing “Slip Kid” as fiercely as can be & then quietly slipping off stage… Jaws dropped to the floor!!
