And here’s more on the music in Sweden front: After implementing the anti-piracy Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Directive law, the country saw a 60% reduction in file-sharing. This presumably has led to music sales increasing by 18% in Sweden, after seven consecutive years of declining sales. (Daily Swarm)
An executive from Def Jam Records was just arrested for not twittering to help dispel the masses when a frighteningly large amount of young people stormed a mall in Jersey to see some kid, a new teen heartthrob, named Justin Bieber. Yep, arrested. (CNET)
