“The House the Replacements Built” Torn Down

Always sad to see ‘em go. The infamous music venue of Minneapolis called the Uptown was demolished by a wrecking ball. Apparently, it will be a big, gaping hole until further notice. If you don’t live in the greater Twin Cities area, you can pay some last respects to the venue that staged great bands like the Replacements by heading over to the region’s City Paper for some photos and a better explanation.
