[Via Sound of the City] Seen above is a t-shirt customized and signed by the Hold Steady’s Tad Kubler, which details out the songs he’d choose for a mixtape and includes songs by Jawbreaker, Holly Go Lightly, and Oasis. Closing it out with Whispertown 2000 is a surprising choice, I must say. But that’s what mixtapes are all about.

Of Montreal has a similar one, and both t-shirts are currently on auction with proceeds going to 826NYC. There’s also more to come from No Age, Dinosaur Jr., Mates of State, Spoon, the Kills, and Bob Mould.

Very cool to see what other bands are listening to, and it’s for a great cause.
