Rock Art Rock: Issue 3.24c
Jeff Tweedy of Wilco
Greek Theater, Berkeley, CA
June 27, 2009
By Patrick Proctor
Jeff Tweedy can sometimes be so serious, yet it’s always painfully clear that he’s very much happily in love with making music. That’s part of the reason we were so glad to snag this shot as the band came on stage in Berkeley: It captures Tweedy at his smiley, music-loving best. This was the smile that opened up an evening of fantastic music, and we think if you read it right, you might have known it from the very moment we snapped this pic.
