John & Yoko
Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City
1972
By Sherry Rayn Barnett
Here John Lennon assists Yoko Ono at Yoko’s concert at Alice Tully Hall at New York’s Lincoln Center. Due to their failure to obtain US work visas, Yoko had to conduct her performance piece, with husband John by her side, from their seats in the audience, so as to not alert the authorities.
